A stylish haven away from the passing shoppers in Palermo Soho, Legado Mitico represents the perfect middle ground between the boring 5 star hotel and the smaller bohemian hotels. The hotel shares the block with some of the most famous design shops in the Soho area, but its discreet entrance is only meant for those who want to blend in with the crowd but still find privacy.
The hotel has an historical theme, with each of the 11 rooms named after famous Argentinians: from the world renowned Che Guevara and the famous Evita to more charismatic figures such as Mafalda, the queen of Argentinean comics in the late 60's. Although each room includes a couple of distinctive details to honour its name, they still have the atmosphere of a classic 5-star hotel.
The living room, just beyond the lobby on the ground floor, is where the architects, responsible for the project, have showed their décor expertise. A cosy and intimate atmosphere is embraced by a wide bookshelf full of captivating novels; photography books, interesting art pieces and some vintage objects (some with quite a value). The fireplace completes a perfect place for those visiting BA in winter and a small roof deck with Jacuzzi is the right spot to view the sunset after an exhausting shopping day.
