The scene: a street lost in Palermo´s old times, a catwalk for bushy Tipa trees. Quietly hidden away from the hubbub, but wisely just round the corner from Casa Cruz, home to the best cocktails in the city. This is the corner that Grupo Fen has chosen to bring a little bit of genuine splendor to the trendy, ultra chic Palermo Soho. \r\n \r\nBut this is not random chance - Grupo Fen is already an expert on the art of hospitality and, with the help of Mauro Bernardini, has blended décor and architecture to create a cozy and sophisticated modern design hotel. \r\n \r\nAn orange / ochre palette brings life to the lobby, whilst the ground floor restaurant is decorated with chocolate brown sofas and stylish Scandinavian furniture. Deco lamps from the 60´s, orange velvet Swan sofas and Martin Churba's charismatic fabric-puffs seem to linger around the hotel with a life of their own. Vanguard art pieces from Casa Juana Gallery give the playful final touch. \r\n \r\nEach of the 27 rooms of 30/40 sqm combine a dark turquoise or intense green wall, with a king size bed, plasma TV screen and a personal balcony with a private view of the Tipa trees. All of them face Guatemala Street and have the personal stamp of the hotel, a tailor-made wallpaper with a vintage flavour that echoes the bushy atmosphere from the trees on the street. \r\n \r\nHappy hours are in store for cocktail hounds during the sunset on the rooftop wooden deck terrace. The view is priceless, as are the home made pastries that will greet you at breakfast. Be a good kid and don't rush before trying the dulce de leche and coconut pie, it is a "one way no return" experience.
